The Australian point guard dropped his ninth triple-double of the season, finishing with 11 points, 12 rebounds, 15 assists, and three steals, while not committing any turnovers in the Philadelphia 76ers’ 108-94 win over the Charlotte Hornets.

Simmons capped off the triple-double with an offensive rebound, late in the fourth quarter, as the 76ers continue to make a case as a force in the Eastern Conference.

Joel Embiid led the way for the 76ers with 25 points and 19 rebounds, while Marco Belinelli was instrumental off the bench with 21 points.

Kemba Walker finished with a game-high 24 points, for a Hornets team that dropped to 30-41 on the season.

The win sees the 76ers improve to 39-30; good for sixth place in the East, and just half a game behind the Washington Wizards.
